The ACC Digital Media Camp at the Riding Mountain National Park Film Festival is an incredible opportunity for youth to learn from experienced film makers and create a short film over 2 days.
Dates: Wednesday July 12 + Thursday July 13, 2023. 9 AM – 4:00 PM.
Location: Wasagaming Community Arts Centre. 110 Wasagaming Drive.
Ages: 8 – 17.

This two day course teaches kids everything they need to know about making movies in a fun and informative setting!
Day 1:
Kids learn the basics of film making. From audio, directing, lighting, editing and everything in between. They get a chance to work with modern cameras and editing suites and also get outside and have some fun.
The afternoon focuses on Clay-Mation, stop motion, TikToks and planning their shoot for day 2.
Day 2:
Day 2 is shoot and edit day. Kids break into small groups and spend the morning shooting and the afternoon editing their film.
At the end of Day 2 we screen the films with family and friends.
